A Flowery Branch woman died from injuries sustained in an early-morning wreck on Interstate 985.

Sharon Flynn, 49, was traveling south on I-985 around 10 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle near the Friendship Road exit, said Jared Baker of the Georgia State Patrol's Gainesville Post.

"For unknown reasons vehicle one traveled off the west shoulder of the roadway, striking several objects before striking a tree with the front end," Baker said.

There were no other vehicles involved and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
