A Flowery Branch man was injured in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident Sunday evening, authorities said. Kevin L. Carter, 32, was traveling southbound on a 1988 Honda CBR600F in the 5100 block of Oliver Road at 5:55 p.m. when he crossed the northbound lane, left the road and hit a tree, the Georgia State Patrol said. He was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for treatment.
