Northeast Georgia residents celebrated the Fourth of July on Friday, with the American Legion Paul E. Bolding Post 7’s fireworks display being one of the highlights. Laurel Park on Lake Lanier in Gainesville was the site for the annual pyrotechnics, which also included an offseason visit from Santa Claus.
