Two men suffered injuries in a fight Wednesday afternoon in North Hall County, Sheriff's Office officials said in a news release.

Around 5 p.m., deputies responded to the 5300 block of Lawson Robinson Road to a report of a fight between two men. One had suffered a stab wound to the lower abdomen and the other received head injuries, Sgt. Kiley Sargent said.

One man was identified as Jamie Allison, 29, of Murrayville. He was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. His injuries are reported to be non-life threatening, Sargent said.

Allison will be charged with one count of aggravated assault when he is released, Sargent said.

Investigators do not expect to charge the other man.

The incident is still under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigation Division, Sargent said.
