Flowery Branch City Council started the New Year Thursday night with a new face — Amy Farah. The longtime educator was sworn in by City Clerk Melissa McCain to her first four-year term on the council, along with familiar faces: Mayor Mike Miller and councilmen Joe Anglin and Fred Richards.
