Family and friends praised Peggie Robinson as selfless and loving, traits that would mark even her life’s final act. The 61-year-old Gainesville woman had helped to raise the 6-year-old son of her son’s girlfriend, going as far as serving as a go-between in a custody situation involving the girlfriend and biological father. This past weekend, she was stabbed to death as she tried to drop off the child with the father, Wolf Griffin, who has been charged with her murder and is being held in the Gwinnett County Jail.
