Fixing McEver Road’s pavement woes is taking longer than Hall County officials expected. Originally, the county had hoped to start a $2.7 million rebuilding of the West Hall road this past summer and wrap up work this year. But schedules changed the deeper officials dug into the road, and now Hall officials are looking to rescind a contract with C.W. Matthews on the project.
