Eyes on the Road: Hearings set on Tumbling Circle abandonment

Public hearings on the proposed abandoning of a portion of right of way on Tumbling Circle have been set for Oct. 23 and Nov. 13. Hall County officials are planning to present the Hall County Board of Commissioners with a plan to consider abandoning the 1,786-foot section between Old Oakwood Road and Tumbling Creek Drive and turning it into a cul-de-sac. The project is being proposed in an effort to increase safety and discourage illegal dumping in the area, officials said.
