Voters in 10 states across the country, including Georgia, have the chance today, Super Tuesday, to choose their presidential nominee.

Remaining candidates in the race for GOP nomination include Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum.

Also on the ballot in Hall County are two questions related to Sunday alcohol sales.

The first is whether grocery and convenience stores in unincorporated areas should be allowed to sell packaged beer and wine on Sundays.

The second is whether restaurants in those same areas should be allowed to sell alcohol on Sundays.

Flowery Branch voters have one more item to vote for: a representative for City Council Post 3. To vote in that election, Flowery Branch residents must go to City Hall, 5517 Main St., Flowery Branch. They must go to their county precinct to vote for their presidential nominee and answer the alcohol ballot questions.

Across Northeast Georgia, some counties have special elections for special purpose local option sales tax questions and other items. Contact your elections office for a sample ballot specific to your area. Voters must have registered by Feb. 9 in order to vote today.
