Today is the last day Georgia residents can register to vote in the Nov. 2 election.
Residents can register at several locations, including local elections offices, public libraries and other government offices.
The Hall County Elections office is at 2285 Browns Bridge Road, Suite 2, near Skelton Road, in Gainesville.
To register to vote, residents must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, and a legal resident of Georgia and the county where they want to vote.
Registration applications, which can be downloaded through the Georgia secretary of state’s website, must be postmarked by today.
The Nov. 2 ballot will feature state, local and national races. Several questions also will be featured on ballots.
Today’s registration deadline also applies to the general election runoff on Nov. 30.
Early voting, which began 45 days before the Nov. 2 election, is under way.
Hall County residents interested in taking advantage of that must cast those ballots at the Browns Bridge Road office.
