The town of Clermont is sponsoring a question-and-answer forum Tuesday for the candidates running for the District 3 seat on the Hall County Board of Commissioners.

The forum is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Community Center, 6019 Cleveland Highway/U.S. 129 (next to Fire Station No 2) in Clermont.

This is an open forum and the public is invited.

Two Republicans, Howard Jones Cottrell and David Scott Gibbs, have qualified to run for the seat in the July 20 primary. The post is currently held by Steve Gailey, who is not seeking re-election.
