An East Hall High School student has been arrested and charged with possession and intent to distribute LSD on the school campus.
Salvador Godoy Mojica, 17, of Gillsville was arrested without incident after he was found in possession of about 39 doses of lysergic acid diethylamide, according to Hall County Sheriff’s Office officials. He was charged with possession of LSD with intent to distribute drugs at a school.
School administrators had been alerted that a student had narcotics on school property. The information led the school resource officer to make the arrest, according to Hall County Schools spokesman Gordon Higgins.
Godoy Mojica was booked in at the Hall County Jail and suspended from school pending a disciplinary review. The case remains under investigation.
