A man was stabbed Monday and the suspected attacker is on the run, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies received a call shortly after 10 a.m. Monday to the 3100 block of East Ridge Road regarding a stabbing, according to Deputy Donald McDuffie. The male victim was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, and the suspect is described as a white man.
McDuffie said the investigation is still in its early stages. Deputies were patrolling the area Monday morning in search of the suspect.
“Investigators are working on it to determine what has happened, what took place, and they are gathering evidence,” McDuffie said. “As soon as we have additional information, we’ll put out a press release with that additional information.”
Further updates were unavailable by print deadlines Monday. McDuffie said he hoped to send further information this morning.
