Department of Labor to help Magnolia fill jobs in Baldwin

The Georgia Department of Labor will help Magnolia Windows and Doors fill a number of manufacturing jobs from 2-5 p.m. April 17 at 1000 Pyratich Drive in Baldwin.

The company, which is recruiting production specialists, will conduct a tour of its plant. Job seekers will complete an application and be interviewed.

Due to Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also be proficient in English, able to lift up to 65 pounds without assistance, and available to work flexible schedules.

Salaries range from $9.27 to $10 an hour, depending on position.

The company will conduct physical examinations and drug-screening tests for selected applicants.

Applicants must call DOL’s Habersham Career Center at 706-776-0811 Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to schedule an appointment for the recruitment. Applicants are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
