The arrest last month of an alleged MS-13 gang member in Flowery Branch was one of the more recent appearances of the Salvadoran group in Hall County. “Although it does exist, and we have seen signs of that graffiti in the Gainesville area, it hasn’t been in recent years,” said Gainesville Police Investigator Joe Amerling. “And we don’t even see that much of it in Atlanta.”
