A Dawsonville man was arrested Monday morning after he reportedly attempted to set fire to his home on Duck Thurmond Road last week. According to the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Glenn Odum has been charged with criminal attempt to commit arson, reckless conduct and second-degree criminal damage to property. He is being held at the Dawson County Detention Center, where jail records show that bond has not been set.
