The victim of a fire Tuesday morning was identified today as Jimmy Lee Stringer, Hall County coroner Marion Merck said. Merck said the cause of death tentatively is smoke inhalation. Stringer was pronounced dead after firefighters pulled him from his burning apartment on Linwood Drive about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
