A ballpark in northwest Hall County will officially open Monday after the first opening ceremony was postponed by weather. The ceremony at Cool Springs Park will start at 5:45 p.m. and feature remarks from Hall County District 2 Commissioner Billy Powell as well as from the Hall County Parks and Leisure Services Board and some key community members. Games and practices will then start at 6 p.m. The park, on 70 acres at 5579 Cool Springs Road outside Gainesville, includes three ballfields and a concession and restroom building.
