Georgia’s first continuous flow intersection is set to begin construction early next year. The Georgia Department of Transportation expects to break ground for the intersection at Ga. 400 and Ga. 53, depending on weather, sometime between January and February, Dawson County Manager Cindy Campbell said. “In a continuous flow intersection, vehicles turning left actually are moved to the left side of the intersection before entering it,” DOT stated in a news release.
