Brittney Gunter, a 2012 North Hall High graduate and a senior at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, was one of 77 Georgia FFA members to receive the prestigious American FFA Degree at the National FFA Convention in late October in Louisville, Ky.

It is the highest degree offered to an active FFA member.

Gunter served as a chapter officer for four years under Johnny Sutton and as a state FFA officer in 2011-2012. She will complete her degree at ABAC in 2016 and pursue a career in an agricultural field.

North Hall High School FFA members had the chance to experience national career development event contests, business sessions, college recruitment sessions, a career show showcasing hundreds of major businesses in agriculture and inspirational speeches from nationally acclaimed speakers and national FFA officers.
