Newsmakers in business: Georgia Urology opening a pair of Hall locations

Georgia Urology, the largest urology practice in the Southeastern United States, is opening a pair of Hall County locations.

Dr. Brent Sharpe will serve patients in the company’s Braselton and Gainesville offices. The Braselton office at 7316 Spout Springs Road, Suite 203, opened Monday. It operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays; call 678-205-8387.

The Gainesville office, located at 675 White Sulphur Road, will open in June.

“We are excited to continue expanding our urology services to the Braselton and Gainesville communities with the addition of Dr. Sharpe to the Georgia Urology team,” said Dr. Mark A. Haber, managing partner. “Dr. Sharpe is a top-notch physician and a leader in his field. We are thrilled to be able to offer his expertise to our patients.”

Sharpe has been in private practice for 12 years, the past four in the Gainesville area. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, he then earned his medical degree from the East Carolina University School of Medicine in Greenville, N.C.
