Knights of Columbus Council 13457 recently raised $1,100 to help fund a newly formed Special Needs Ministry at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch.

The Atlanta Gladiators hockey team partnered with the Knights and took part in the Peggy Slappey Fund Raising program. A total of 223 tickets were sold for the event.

The Knights are best known for their annual “Tootsie Roll Drive,” conducted every March, and have raised in excess of $60,000 for Challenged Child and Friends in Gainesville since 2008.
