Lindsay Neece of Gainesville participated in the Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps ship selection draft as a future member of the U.S. Navy’s Surface Warfare Office community. The NROTC selects midshipmen ranked according to grade-point average, aptitude scores and physical fitness. Ship selection is an important milestone for midshipmen as it determines where they start their Naval career.
