During the past two months, Free Chapel has increased efforts to significantly impact the Gainesville community through its “Heart For Gainesville” campaign. Hundreds of people have joined the campaign and are now actively serving in ongoing ministry outreaches such as Meals on Wheels, Georgia Mountain Food Bank, Good News at Noon, prison ministries, senior care and other local projects. On Nov. 15, the volunteers of Free Chapel gathered thousands of bags filled with food and canned goods at all four of the church’s campus locations in Gainesville, Suwanee, Spartanburg, S.C., and Orange County, Calif.
