Nicholas John “Nick” Scheman, science department chair and teacher and Renaissance Academy director at Chestatee High School, is the recipient of one of five Professional Association of Georgia Educators professional scholarships. The PAGE Foundation awards the $1,000 scholarships to PAGE members pursuing advanced degrees in education who agree to teach in Georgia for three years. Scheman is a Gainesville resident and is pursuing an education specialist degree in curriculum and instruction at Piedmont College in Demorest.
