U.S. Army National Guard Pvt. Alicia Osorio has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in various military disciplines.

Osorio is the daughter of Alicia Reynoso and sister of Araceli Osorio, both of Gainesville.

She is a 2015 graduate of Gainesville High School.
