The Hall County Board of Commissioners on Thursday tabled a vote on a contract to implement a pilot program to track government vehicles in the hopes of reducing fuel costs, fraud and liability. Executing a contract with MotionLink to install GPS tracking technology was postponed after a Gainesville company, Mobile Fleet Solutions, Inc., stepped forward with a proposal. County officials said they would review this new proposal in the coming weeks and take up the contract discussion again later this month.
