Polls open at 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, for Clermont voters deciding who should fill the Town Council Ward 1 seat.

Cynthia “Cyndy” Shubert-Jett and Eric Thomas face each other in a special election to replace Robin Brown, who resigned from the council in December.

Voters can cast their ballots until 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 109 King St.

The winner of the seat will serve from March 26 of this year to Dec. 31, 2019.
