Every year, Chestatee High School students take a day off from their normal routines. The school’s homeroom teachers, also known as advisers, took their students and taught them something outside of the classroom as a part of the school’s “Commit to the C” event Thursday. “It’s a chaotic day and it takes months of planning to implement, but it is worth every second of the time it takes to pull off,” media specialist and cheerleading coach Jennifer Gibson said.
