The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce has extended the deadline application for The Wisdom Project to July 13.

The initiative is a leadership program for senior residents that’s also sponsored by Brenau University’s Center for Lifetime Study and was introduced in May. It seeks to recruit those 50 and older “to share their wisdom, experiences and talents in creative ways through action and advocacy on behalf of Hall County,” according to a press release from the chamber.

The program starts Aug. 24 and meets 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the second and fourth Fridays of each month through Nov. 30. Participants are expected to attend seven sessions.

Applications are available at www.vision2030.org.
