Hubbard elected chairman
of Banks County Chamber CVB

Todd Hubbard of Jackson Electric Membership Corp. was named chairman of the Banks County Chamber CVB March 15 at the Chamber CVB's 2012 annual meeting.

"I'm honored to have been chosen to serve as Chairman of the Banks County Chamber CVB and look forward to working with each member to make this organization a complete success on behalf of our community," Hubbard said.

Other officers named at the event were Jerry Boling of Document Destruction and Data Survival as immediate past chairman, and Paul Patel of the Fairfield Inn & Suites and Comfort Suites as chairman-elect.

The Chamber CVB also presented its 2012 board members: Mark Valentine of the Tanger Outlet Center, Kim Ledford of Community Bank & Trust, Crystal Wilson of Atlanta Dragway, Mary Greenwood of Funopolis Family Fun Center, Kelly Brower of Fairfield Inn & Suites and Sallie Hensley of Document Destruction & Data Survival.

Chamber CVB President Bonnie Johnson stated, "I am so proud of each of these Officers and Board members. These are all very talented, hard- working individuals who have demonstrated their dedication to making our organization better and making our community a better place. I'm excited about all of the possibilities this new Board will bring for the Chamber CVB in 2012."

The Banks County Chamber CVB meets at 7:30 a.m. the second Thursday each month at Certus Bank in Homer. The next meeting is April 12, with Frank Norton Jr. of The Norton Agency as guest speaker.
