Hasty Pope partner named to Civil Justice PAC board of directors

Hasty Pope partner Jonathan Pope of the Gainesville office has been appointed to the board of directors for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association Civil Justice Political Action Committee.

Civil Justice PAC is the political arm of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.

“For more than 20 years, the Civil Justice PAC has worked to be a resource to legislators and a voice for the people of Georgia at the state Capitol,” Pope said. “I’m honored to be asked to serve on the board of directors.”

Earlier this year, Pope was recognized in Georgia’s Top Rated Lawyers in 2012, published in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Wall Street Journal. He was named a “Rising Star” in 2006, 2009 and 2010 in Atlanta Magazine’s “Superlawyers” edition and he was recognized in Georgia Trend’s list of “Legal Elite” in 2010.

Pope also serves as regional vice president of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and is a former president of the Young Lawyers Division and Executive Committee member of the State Bar.

Pope focuses on a wide range of personal injury matters, including wrongful death, catastrophic injuries and vehicle collisions.
