Syfan Logistics promotes 4 into management posts

Gainesville-based Syfan Logistics has announced four promotions to management positions to address company growth and better serve customers.

James Syfan is now vice president for business development, Tre Anderson is temp/dry operations manager, Jose Rodriguez is expedited operations manager and Jason Merck is support manager.

In his new role, Syfan will work closely with Vice President of Sales Jerry Bell to cultivate new business opportunities.

Anderson will oversee the day-to-day activities of both customer and carrier sales for refrigerated and dry loads.

Rodriguez will oversee customer and carrier sales for Syfan’s expedited carrier division, which handles deadline-sensitive loads.

Merck will supervise support teams for the company’s expedited and temp/dry divisions, which includes three weekday shifts and two weekend shifts.

Over the last two years, Inbound Logistics and Transport Topics magazines have recognized the growth of Syfan Logistics, founded in 2011, by naming the company to their national rankings of the top logistics providers in the country.
