Attorney Pope honored as Georgia Trend’s ‘Legal Elite’

Jonathan Pope, a partner with the Gainesville-based law firm of Hasty Pope, has been selected as one of Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite” for the second year in a row.

Pope was selected for the 11th annual edition of the business magazine’s prestigious list based upon his personal injury practice.

“An award like this really speaks to what a great team we have at Hasty Pope,” Pope said. “Everyone works together toward the same goal: Helping our clients.”

Each year Georgia Trend polls thousands of attorneys from around the state for nominations. To be considered for the Legal Elite list, attorneys must be nominated by a peer outside their firm.

Pope concentrates his trial practice on personal injury matters, including wrongful death, automobile and tractor trailer collisions and medical negligence.

Earlier this year, he was named a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He also has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Atlanta Magazine. He serves as regional vice president of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and is a former president of the Young Lawyers Division and Executive Committee member of the State Bar of Georgia.

Hasty Pope operates offices in Canton, Atlanta and at 1370 Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville; website, www.hastypope.com.
