Whether it was on the playground in sixth grade, at a barber shop or in the business community, Gus Whalen had a way of making an impression. The Gainesville business leader was the founder of the Featherbone Communiversity, the former CEO of Warren Featherbone Company, an author and speaker. His death Sunday at the age of 70 left friends and colleagues shocked and saddened.
