Gov. Brian Kemp on Tuesday appointed James Keller Syfan III of Gainesville to the Lake Lanier Islands Development Authority

Syfan and his sons founded Turbo Logistics Inc. in 1984. It grew to a more than $100 million business and has since been sold. Syfan also serves as the CEO of Turbo Truck Center and Turbo Truck & Auto Sales.
