The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center is offering classes on topics related to new business enterprises.
How To Start Your Own Business will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The free class covers the traits of successful entrepreneurs, market research, legal structures for your business, estimating start-up costs and cash flow projections, financing alternatives, failure factors and business planning. A detailed business start-up workbook and other handouts are provided.
How To Write A Business Plan will be offered from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 27.
The tuition is $49. The course will explain the sections of the business plan, what information is required for each section, and the general format for a business plan.
