Starkey is technical services director for American Proteins
Charles W. Starkey will join American Proteins Inc. on Monday as director of technical services.
Starkey most recently managed Starkey Nutrition Services, which provided nutritional, economic, environmental and production consulting to poultry and swine producers.
He also served as new business development manager for DSM Nutritional Products, which manufactures vitamins, enzymes and antioxidants.
He earned his doctorate in animal nutrition from Kansas State University in 2002.
Starkey and his wife, Jessica, currently live in Lubbock, Texas, but will relocate to the Cumming area over the next several months.
Judge Murray joins Gainesville law firm Stow, Garvin & Glenn
Judge William A. Murray recently retired as an administrative law judge from the State Board of Worker's Compensation and has joined the law firm of Stow, Garvin & Glenn.
His practice will focus on workers' compensation and Social Security disability law.
"Judge Murray brings a unique body of experience to the firm," said Nancy Glenn, the firm's managing partner. "His many years of experience as the workers' compensation judge for Hall County and surrounding counties provide him with an in-depth knowledge of the challenges faces injured workers and employers in the area. We are excited to offer his services to our valued clients."
