Norton Agency’s Backman chosen as a top female adviser

Kim Backman of the Norton Agency in Gainesville has been chosen as a top female adviser for the second consecutive year by the Atlanta Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors

Selections were announced April 17 in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Backman joined the Norton Agency as a specialist in the Benefits Division, Norton Benefits, in 2000. Her areas of expertise include benefits consulting, health insurance and life insurance planning. Before joining the Norton Agency, she worked for 20 years as a representative with AFLAC.

The Norton Insurance Agency was founded by W. L. Norton in 1960 with offices in Hall and numerous North Georgia counties serving more than 20,000 clients.
