Haddad receives medical certification

Dr. Sinnan Haddad of Guilford Immediate Care in Gainesville has been named a certified Medical Review Officer.

A MRO has the practical skills necessary to evaluate drug and alcohol tests in public and private sectors of the workplace. This includes pre-employment, post-accident, random or part of the drug free workplace program.

Guilford Immediate Care is located at 1250 Jesse Jewell Parkway and is opening locations in Braselton and Flowery Branch.

Chambers Team earns state honors

The Patti Chambers Team of Coldwell Banker Heritage Real Estate has been recognized as the number one team in Georgia in 2007 for independently owned and operated affiliated companies of Coldwell Banker real estate. The team includes, Patti Chambers, associate broker, and realtors Bobby Chambers, Sally Chambers Kirchner, Beverly O. Filson, Pete Woodward and Kathy Clark, who also serves as team manager.
The award was presented at the Coldwell Banker International Business Conference in Orlando, Fla.

Bell, Merry get business honors

The Georgia Association of Business Brokers has announced the members of the 2007 GABB Million Dollar Club. The list includes 18 professional business broker colleagues whose hard work resulted in over $90 million worth of transaction values.

"The achievements recognized by induction into the GABB Million Dollar Club are nothing short of extraordinary," said association president James Welch. "It is an honor among brokers to break through the million-dollar barrier in transactions. These business sales are representative of the backbone of American business. The size and scope of these businesses range from small mom-and-pop retail shops to large manufacturing and distributing businesses."

Jeffery E. Merry of Gainesville was named top producer of 2007.

Merry, of The Business House, had more than $15 million in sales. A broker for 15 years, he also won Top Producer for 2006 and 2002. He has placed in the Million Dollar Club since its inception in 1999

Mark Reeves Bell, of The Bell Company in Gainesville, was also among those earning the distinction of Multi-Million Dollar Club brokers.

The Georgia Association of Business Brokers is a not-for-profit membership organization committed to establishing and maintaining an environment and support structure for success and professionalism in the business brokerage industry.

Cash speaks at window coverings expo

Donna Cash of Designs by Donna was a speaker at the International Window Coverings Expo in Atlanta. She presented a program on drapery panel fabrication to a group of interior designers, decorators and workroom professionals.

The International Window Coverings Expo is an interior design trade show for window design professionals.

The conference featured more than 50 in-depth design and business seminars encompassing key industry topics and leading trends.

Designs by Donna, a full-service consulting drapery workroom, is located in Flowery Branch.
