Red and black made its debut on the Big Creek Greenway in Forsyth County earlier this month.
University of Georgia colors and logos catch the eyes of passers-by before the silver bell sounds on the newly restored antique bicycle.
Forsyth County resident Wayne Clark worked on and off for several months refurbishing the rusted 1960s Sears cycle into a fan bike.
He found the old item in a shed when he moved into his current home a few years ago and decided he'd fix it up.
Others along the greenway have asked him where they could get a bike like that.
"Like all good things, you do it yourself," Clark said.
As a Georgia native, lifelong fan and second generation alumnus, Clark figured he would pay homage to his Bulldogs by restoring the bike.
This season, he said, has been especially enjoyable to watch the 10-2 Bulldogs, who defeated in-state rival Georgia Tech on Saturday.
Friend Dian Stevenson said Clark's love of the Bulldogs is "a real passion."
Since Clark often takes on original projects, Stevenson said she wasn't surprised that he combined his hobby with his favorite college football team.
"He's very imaginative and very creative," she said. "He can take anything and turn it into a piece of art."
