A Braselton man walking on Ga. 211 in southeast Hall County was killed Tuesday morning when he was hit by a vehicle, according to the Georgia State Patrol. The incident happened about 6:45 a.m. near the intersection of Ga. 211 and Stillwater Lane when a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Joan Shadburn, 43, of Gainesville struck Preston Anderson, 62, according to the Georgia State Patrol. Trooper Devon Fields said Shadburn told him she thought she had hit a deer in the area that morning.
