A Sunday afternoon fire in a commercial building near Lula is under investigation, Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said.

Fire crews were called to the scene at the 5500 block of Old Cornelia Highway at Lewallen Circle at 5 p.m. The road was closed in both directions, as a power line was also down at the time.

Cagle said there were no occupants and no power was going to the building, but the owners used the structure for storage.

The sign on the building was for Georgia Mountain Truck Sales.

Cagle added there has been a history of break-ins at the location
