A bill that would protect Medicaid and allow adults with disabilities to save money passed the Georgia House of Representatives unanimously last week. Rep. Lee Hawkins, R-Gainesville, is the lead sponsor of the bill. “He’s just been an incredible sponsor,” Kathy Keeley, executive director of All About Developmental Disabilities, said Friday.
