Morning fire destroys home in North Hall

Update: Fire officials reported that an explosion occurred about 6 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, in the 5300 block of Bogus Road. 

When firefighters arrived, they found a trailer and an outbuilding in flames, said Christie Grice, a spokeswoman with Hall County Fire Rescue. 

The fire was extinguished, but crews remained on the scene for hours afterwards. A portion of Bogus Road was closed until about noon.

No one was injured. 

Firefighters arrived at the home in the 5300 block of Bogus Road to find the home and a shed fully engulfed in flames, said Christie Grice, a spokeswoman with Hall County Fire Rescue.. 

Bogus Road remains closed as firefighters continue to battle the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal's Office.
