A Baldwin man is accused of asking a 14-year-old Hall County girl for nude photographs and sending her an explicit picture of himself, according to authorities.
Dustin Gerald Dodd, 29, was charged with four counts of sexual exploitation of children. He was booked Wednesday, Oct. 9 in to the Hall County Jail, where he remains without a bond.
Detectives began looking into the case after Sept. 12, when one of the 14-year-old girl’s family members reported some conversations on social media between Aug. 14-18.
“He asked the victim for nude photographs of her body and described activity he wished to engage in. Dodd also sent a photograph of his genitals and unsuccessfully attempted to entice the victim to meet him in person,” Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Derreck Booth wrote in a news release.
Booth did not disclose which social media platform was used.
Investigators obtained warrants for Dodd on Wednesday. All four counts relate to the same girl.
Booth said additional charges are expected, and the case is still under investigation.
