Authorities seek witnesses after woman dies in South Hall wreck

Hall County authorities are seeking witnesses after a 21-year-old woman was killed in what was believed to be a one-car wreck Friday, March 9, in South Hall.

Hall County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Scott Ware said she was driving a green 1998 Honda Civic EX at the time of the accident, which was between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Friday, in the 3600 block of Tanners Mill Road at Tanners Mill Circle.

The victim’s family has been notified, Ware said, noting that “this investigation remains very active.” Ware declined to release the woman's name. The Times has filed an open records request with the county for an initial report on the incident.

Ware said anyone with information on the case should call Sgt. John Morgan at 770-718-2383 or the sheriff’s office tip line at 770-503-3232. Callers can remain anonymous.
