A Suwanee man was stabbed in the arm late Thursday night at an extended-stay hotel on Jesse Jewell Parkway.

At about 11:15 p.m. Thursday, May 2, Gainesville Police Department officers responded to a report of a man with a cut on his arm at HomeTowne Studios in the 1100 block of Jesse Jewell Parkway. Officers used a tourniquet to stop the man’s bleeding at the scene.

The man has been identified as Brian Hultz of Suwanee, who was transported to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center and released.

Investigators believe Hultz was stabbed by an acquaintance and that it was an isolated incident. The knife used in the stabbing has been retrieved and the investigation is ongoing.
