The Hall County Sheriff’s Office has issued a lookout for a man suspected in an April 5 Clermont bank robbery.
Michael Anthony Gordon, 47, of Cleveland, is wanted by authorities, with arrest warrants for armed robbery, possession of a gun by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime.
According to authorities, Gordon allegedly showed a gun and a note to the United Community Bank tellers April 5 before leaving with cash.
“He left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash, and no one was injured during the incident,” Hall County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Scott Ware said at the time of the incident.
Deputies responded to the silent panic alarm at the Cleveland Highway bank at 10:22 a.m. April 5.
He is believed to be traveling in a white 1994 Mazda B3000 pickup truck. The sheriff’s office said Gordon has ties in western North Carolina and as far away as Columbus, Ind.
