A man showed a gun and a note to the United Community Bank tellers Wednesday morning in Clermont before leaving with cash, according to authorities.

“He left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash, and no one was injured during the incident,” Hall County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Scott Ware said.

Deputies responded to the silent panic alarm at the Cleveland Highway bank at 10:22 a.m.

The suspect is in his late 20s to early 40s. He is about 6 feet tall, weighs about 250 pounds and has shoulder length hair, a beard and a mustache.

He was wearing jeans, a denim shirt, a dark jacket and an olive green baseball cap at the time of the robbery.

He may be traveling in a 1990s to early 2000s white Mazda pickup truck with designs on the side and an ill-fitting aluminum camper shell.

Anyone who sees him should call 911. Anyone with information about the incident or suspect can call the investigator at 770-531-6879 or 770-297-5790.
